Change in culture?
I find it disconcerting that the British public are often told of various disciplines, work and leisure, serious and political, that do not have enough female participants.
Perhaps males are under represented in various fields too. Perhaps we should be addressing this too. Many things have been ‘tweaked’ to allow ‘male only’ pursuits to allow female interaction; and rightly so.
I notice that men are severely under represented in maternity units in hospitals. Just because the body is not naturally adapted to carry and and deliver children should not preclude them. This may incur a culture change. Hospitals may find public houses opening in the vicinity. A bloke, for instance, may give birth at midday and then want to have a pint before lunch.
