Majority hold sensible views
Reading two of the letters in the Shropshire Star of April 23, I felt a response was needed to both.
The first was from our old friend Rod Shaw – not a fan of Nigel Farage. His letter contained the same old diatribe, but it was the last sentence that caught my attention. I quote ‘Farage can say what he likes in the knowledge he won’t have to deliver’.
Really. Mr Farage was largely instrumental in delivering Brexit and will now hopefully go on to finish the job with his new party whilst the other parties continue to faff about.
The second letter was from W.I.Huxley who was upset that UKIP was being branded as far-right, whilst at the same time suggesting that the Labour party was Marxist!
There are of course far-right and far-left elements in all political parties, but the majority of people hold moderate sensible views, so please do not tar everyone with the same brush.
