Europe regained the Ryder Cup this afternoon in the most nail-biting finish in the tournament's history.
The competition went down to the final singles match between Northern Ireland star Graeme Mcdowell and American's Hunter Mahan - which was only decided in McDowell's favour on the 17th green.
That gave Europe a 14-and-a-half to 13-and-a-half victory and ensured Colin Montgomerie's team a place in history.
