Shropshire's Mark Lloyd joins Carl Froch bill

Shropshire's Mark Lloyd will tackle the unbeaten Pier Olivier Cote on the undercard of Carl Froch's world title fight in Nottingham.

The punching plumber from Shifnal will provide an eight-round contest in the 27-year-old Canadian's United Kingdom debut on Saturday, May 26.

And the 36-year-old could see the fight on the Matchroom-promoted bill at the Nottingham Arena make the live cut on Sky Sports.
