Ludlow golfer Oliver Farr misses out by one
A disappointing final round cost Shropshire golf pro Oliver Farr a place in the second stage of the European Tour qualifying competition.

Farr, from Ludlow, had started the fourth and last round of the first qualifying stage section D event at Frilford Heath on course to advance.
But he carded a three-over-par 75 which saw him slip from tied 12th to tied 30th in the final leaderboard and miss the cut by one shot.
The top 24 plus ties advanced to the second qualifying round.
