Ludlow golfer Oliver Farr well on course
Shropshire's Oliver Farr was today aiming to rubber-stamp promotion to golf's second-tier on the final day of the EuroPro Tour Championship in Kent.

Farr, from Ludlow, needs to finish in the top five in the EuroPro Tour overall order of merit to earn promotion to the higher-ranked European Challenge Tour for next season.
And he remains well on course to do that after finishing day two of the Tour Championships, the final event of the season, in tied second place after a seven-under-par 65 yesterday left him one shot behind leader Daniel Gavins.
