Shropshire is bracing itself for more golfing success with Oliver Farr on the brink of securing a place on the European Tour.

The Ludlow ace is currently playing in the Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final and needs a good showing to secure a top-15 place in the European Challenge Tour order of merit.
Going into today's final round, the 25-year-old was sitting in second-place, just two shots behind Frenchman Benjamin Hebert.
Farr's success comes on the back of an incredible year for Shropshire golfers after amateur Hawkstone Park's Ashley Chesters missed the cut at The Open by just one shot.
