Ludlow's Kim Simm lands her first ace

Ludlow Golf Club member Kim Simm is celebrating after landing her first hole in one.

She bagged the ace on the182-par 17th during the Ladies Stableford competition.

A delighted Kim said: "I hit a five wood and knew that it was a good hit as soon as it left the club.

"It's taken me 16 years playing golf to hit my first ace, but it was worth waiting for."

Steve Cox and Martin Langford hit form to land the Tommy Adams Cup.

They came out on top of the standings after carding a betterball stableford score of 46 points.

John Evans and Liam Magill took second spot after finishing one point behind. Will Norton and Alan Meyrick paired up to score 44 and claim third place.
