Shrewsbury High Prep youngsters make waves
Pupils from Shrewsbury High Prep are making waves after being crowned Shrewsbury Primary Schools swimming champions.

The youngsters produced a series of power-packed performances to claim the title at Quarry Pool.
The individual plaudits went to Simran Jassel and Gabriel Miller who won their breaststroke events while Isabelle Abbatt struck gold in the front crawl final.
Both the girls and boys teams came home first in the freestyle relay with the girls also winning the medley relay and the boys finishing runners-up.
School head of sport, Paul Leeming, was thrilled with the team's efforts. He said: "It was a great team performance.
"We had one if not two swimmers in seven out of the eight individual finals and won three out of the four relays, coming second in the other.
"The win was well deserved as the pupils have trained especially hard for this event.
"We have had a great squad of swimmers this year who trained from 7.30-8.30am at the Quarry Pool in preparation for the gala. All of their hard work has paid off very well."
