The All-Blacks battled back from a 10-point deficit to record their fifth successive victory and end the unbeaten run of the visitors, which had stretched back 12 games to November.

Llew Williams put an early penalty wide for Bridgnorth but they had already survived a couple of scares by the time the Lion's pack went over in the corner for the first try of the game.

A very accurate conversion was quickly followed by a penalty and a long afternoon looked in prospect for the All Blacks, who at that stage trailed 10-0.

But the home pack gave their team a foothold in the game as they engineered a try for Sam Wilson.

Simon Fletcher put through a clever grubber kick for Wilson to touch down, though the chance to reduce the deficit further was squandered when Williams' conversion attempt came back off the post.

Peterborough duly responded with another penalty to restore their two score advantage but it was a challenge Bridgnorth would prove equal to.

Gareth Bladen was their inspiration, hauling them back into things with a superb solo try. Williams' conversion again clunked off the upright but it would be his boot which would first level the scores and then edge Bridgnorth in front courtesy of two penalties.

Peterborough pushed hard in the closing stages but the game was over when Bladen booted the ball out for a victory which saw Bridgnorth jump up to sixth in National Three Midlands.
