Wolves' Ruben Neves craves career highlight on Sunday
Ruben Neves says it would be the highlight of his burgeoning career if Wolves reached the FA Cup final.
Nuno Espirito Santo's team take on Watford at Wembley on Sunday hoping to reach the club's first final since 1960.
And midfield maestro Neves said: "Of course, yes (the career highlight). For all of us, if we can, it’s going to be perfect, but we have play many minutes and have to be at our best to beat Watford.
"Everyone is talking about it. It’s a great chance for us, but we have to be calm because we have to look at this game like another one. We have to play in the same way we’ve been playing.
"We only can think that we have to play in our normal way, do our normal things, to try and achieve the win.
"It’s a big stadium, a beautiful stadium. I think everyone wants to play at Wembley and fortunately we have a chance to play a semi-final there."
Neves' position in midfield has become deeper since Nuno switched to 3-5-2.
It's a role he's comfortable in: "I’m accustomed to playing a holding midfielder, because in Portugal at I used to play there.
"The coach changed and it was a really good change because it helped us out of a difficult part of the season. We had a bad run in October and November, so we had to find solutions to get back our performances and wins, and that was the way the coach could help us.
"I think I’m a bit different than when I arrived here, probably more physical, more defensive.
"I want to improve every day to be better. It’s a bit different, mainly in the Championship last season, I learnt a lot there, I always want to improve, there are always things to learn.
"We are a special club. The project that the club had two years ago, and the way they worked to make things happen, the way that we played last season, really consistent.
"We came to the Premier League and are doing well, so I think we have a great club and every player is happy with the way the club is growing.
"We always want more so we will work hard to put the club on the highest level."
