Salop ended their six-game winless on Saturday with a superb victory over Blues in what was Ainsworth's first game in charge of Salop since being appointed as the new boss.
It was just Town's second home win of the campaign and their fourth of what has been a disappointing 2024.
The win does not alter the picture drastically, they are still five points clear of safety.
