Salop are bottom of the League One table after losing 14 of their first 19 matches this season.
They currently find themselves 10 points from safety with a huge clash against Wigan this weekend.
When Gareth Ainsworth was appointed as head coach he said his players would have the biggest say in how busy Shrewsbury are in the transfer window which is fast approaching - and they have lost their last three consecutive games.
Ainsworth says one of his greatest strengths is working people out quickly, and he says all the Shrewsbury players are hard workers despite results being a challenge.
"I work people out pretty quick," he said. "I think one of my big strengths is working people out and knowing what people are about. Very few have pulled the wool over my eyes. I generally work them out.
"And hopefully, what I'm seeing is a true picture of everyone. They're all honest. They're all hardworking lads.
