The club have a new centre-back as their priority position to strengthen in January and have a strong interest in Danso, a player they have followed for some time.
It is understood Wolves are ready to make a move for Danso, who could be available from French club Lens on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
Wolves could swoop for the 26-year-old in the coming days, with the transfer window opening on Wednesday, amid the club's shortage of defenders.
