Damia Abella, Chris Brunt and Boaz Myhill have been leading Albion through this difficult period - as they faced some tricky fixtures without a permanent manager.

After the Boxing Day defeat at Derby, Albion have now put in two top displays to pick up four points either side of the turn of the year.

In both outings there have been some differences in what Albion fans have seen compared to life under Corberan. Jonny Drury looks at a two of them.

The differences from Corberan's Albion

We had a real glimpse on Sunday at Sheffield United of Albion playing in a different style. They were front footed, and really got at the leaders in what was a top performance from the Baggies.

At home against lower opposition in Preston, it was going to be interesting to see if Albion went that way again. They did.

This is still, on paper, a Corberan side and much of what Albion display is what has been drummed into them from the head coach. Defensively they remain as solid and well drilled.
