Solley, who featured for Shifnal Town in the FA Cup this season, and Ezea, who played for Market Drayton Town until November, succeeded after a series of trials beginning in October led to the 18-player squad being selected.

The final stage was delayed twice due to bad weather, leading to a tight turnaround for the side’s first match against Australia’s under-18 Schoolboys side.

Hednesford Town host the side’s first fixture against Australia’s under-18 Schoolboys on January 24th, after which the players will attend a training camp at St George’s Park.

The SAFIB Centenary Shield, which runs from February until April, will give the side an opportunity to compete competitively against the home nations and the Republic of Ireland.
