After enjoying an impressive start to his time as head coach with two wins and a draw from his opening three games, the honeymoon period is now over for the new boss after consecutive 3-0 league losses to Nottingham Forest and Newcastle.

Jorgen Strand Larsen has missed big chances in both games, which has drawn some criticism from supporters, but Pereira believes Wolves will get back to their best in front of goal.

"Jorgen works a lot for the team," Pereira said.

"The last chance was a good shot and a big save from the goalkeeper.

"When we have the chance and we don't score, we need to give them confidence, because they work a lot for this moment.

"I believe we will start to score more goals.

"Against this kind of team, with the quality they have, in a second they can score a goal.
