It’s the first of 10 Championship Conference fixtures for Saints, which includes home and away clashes against second-placed Penybont, as the title race resumes.

Saints had no match last weekend, with their last game a 2-0 victory at Cardiff Metropolitan University on January 14 as they ended the first phase of the league season positively.

The Park Hall side have now won their last five league matches since their exit from the Uefa Conference League following their 14th and final European fixture of the season against Celje on December 19.

Caernarfon, tonight’s opponents for TNS at The Oval, are currently fourth in the table.

Saints have recent experience of playing at Caernarfon as they won there 5-2 in the league on Boxing Day, with Jack Bodenham and Ben Clark both scoring twice.

"It’s tough going up to Caernarfon, we know that,” said TNS head coach Craig Harrison. "They’ve got very, very good support. They’ve got good players, it’s a tough place to go.

“The pitch is going to be tricky, we know that.

"We were only there three, four weeks ago, so, yes, it’s going to be a tough game.

“But we know what it’s about, we know what type of game it’s going to be. We know the crowd are going to be behind them, we know that the pitch isn’t going to be great.

“It’s up to us to go and stamp our authority and make sure we do all we can to try and win the game.”
