Firstly, the wellbeing of one of the Salop players is more important than any football match.
So when Morgan Feeney was down for more than 10 minutes, unmoved, with a serious neck injury, the only thing anyone could hope for was that the defender was going to be OK.
Thankfully, we now know that he has been discharged from the hospital, and given a clean bill of health.
For everybody in the stadium, when someone is down for that long, you cannot help but worry. Both medical teams were first-class in their efforts to get the 25-year-old off the pitch safely, and for that, they must be commended.
Most Shrewsbury fans are aware of how much Gareth Ainsworth has his players' backs. He consistently refers to it in his press conferences. If they give their all, then they will hear no complaints from him.
