The Portuguese winger is keen to return to parent club Ajax, who are in talks with Wolves to bring an early end to his loan spell.

And Pereira is happy to let him leave, but only if Wolves can secure a replacement.

"If a player wants to leave because he wants to play more, I respect it," Pereira said of Forbs.

"But I need a replacement because the squad is very short, and a replacement with quality.

"If we don't have this replacement, I cannot allow anybody to go.

"I understand the situation of the players and to be happy they need to play, but I said if we have a quality replacement I will say yes."
