Derby County loanee extends Telford United stay
Telford United have extended the loan spell of Derby County midfielder Harry Hawkins by a further month.
The 18-year-old, who initially arrived at Bucks Head on a 28-day loan in December, will remain at the club until March 2.
Hawkins has made seven appearances during his loan with the Southern Premier Central leaders so far.
Boss Kevin Wilkin said: "It's good news for us and especially pleasing that Harry wanted to stay and that Derby also wanted him to stay.
"He's a young man whose game is developing; he's fitted into the group, helped us through a tricky period, and helped us achieve some good results
"It's a vote of confidence in him and us as a club that he is staying."
The teenager made his Telford debut in a 1-1 draw against Stourbridge on December 21.
He had made nine appearances for Derby's under-21s in the Premier League 2 this term.
In total, Hawkins has played 40 times for the under-21s, scoring once and setting up three more.
Hawkins also made 49 appearances for the Rams' under-18s, scoring once and assisting four.
