Wolves made a good start under Pereira, earning seven points from a possible nine, before enduring a difficult four-game losing run.
That ended with a derby day win and the head coach - who has stuck by a back five since his arrival - will not compromise on his tactics as he battles relegation.
"I can play with three midfielders, attacking with one of them as an offensive midfielder in the lines," Pereira said when asked if he would consider tactical tweaks.
"I'm changing the qualities of the players but I'm not changing the system.
"When we are defending we have our system and organisation.
