The Salop boss won his fifth game in charge of the Shropshire-based club on Saturday at the New York Stadium with a 2-1 victory over Steve Evans' men. 

The three points meant Shrewsbury's two-year wait for back-to-back victories was finally over, as they secured their second away win of the campaign, and their first under Ainsworth, in south Yorkshire.

Since being appointed as boss of Shrews back in November, the former Wycombe Wanderers manager has transformed the Town team, which has seen them take 18 points from his 14 games in charge. 

And the boss has been speaking about how Salop's form has improved so drastically since his arrival.
