The fixture, which was postponed last month owing to storm damage at The Oval, is a game in hand for Craig Harrison’s side.

It was originally scheduled to be the opening match of the second phase of the league season for the leaders.

Saints moved six points clear of second-placed Penybont in the title race after beating them 4-0 in Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash at Park Hall.

Asked if he’s happy with the position Saints are in, midfielder Dan Williams said: “Yes, but I think for us nothing really changes. We want to win every game.

"We set a goal of winning every game in phase two, so whether we go six points clear or three points behind, I don’t think the mentality from the boys, training, games, I don’t think it ever really changes.”

Reflecting on last weekend’s latest win for Saints, a seventh league victory in a row, Williams added: "I thought we all did really well. We moved the ball first half really well, which was a message from the coaches, try tire them out and then spaces will open up to the end of the first half, which I felt like they did.

“And then going into the second half, the spaces opened up massively and that’s when we got the goals.”

Caernarfon, tonight’s hosts, are currently fifth in the table and drew 1-1 with Haverfordwest County on Saturday.

Saints were 5-2 winners when they last faced Caernarfon at The Oval on Boxing Day.
