Vitor Pereira's side make the trip to Anfield, as they look to bolster their survival chances with an unlikely victory against the league leaders.
Liverpool will themselves be looking for a response to their dramatic clash with rivals Everton on Wednesday night.
They conceded a last gasp equaliser, before manager Arne Slot was sent off following an intense handshake with referee Michael Oliver.
Slot was sent off after the final whistle, and as per FA rules was unable to conduct any post match interviews.
It was believed that Slot would be missing from the touchline on Sunday, after the Premier League put out a statement confirming a two match touchline ban.
In a statement, the Premier League said: "Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was dismissed at the end of the Merseyside derby for using offensive, insulting, or abusive language. He is now handed a two-match touchline ban as a result."
However, that statement has since been deleted.
It is understood that a decision on whether Slot will face a ban will be made after the FA review the referee's report on Thursday.
There is a potential that Slot could well be on the touchline for the visit of Wolves, and the Reds trip to Aston Villa next week, should Liverpool appeal the decision.
There is also the potential for Slot to receive a bigger sanction, given the fact he has already been subject to a ban earlier in the season.
