The January signing has made a big impact on Wolves' defence since his arrival and felt a problem at half-time in the loss to Liverpool, but played on regardless.
He then withdrew in the second half with an unknown injury, that Pereira believes is a muscular problem.
Agbadou's potential absence will be a big blow to Wolves and a frustrated Pereira has warned his players to make smarter decisions and take precautions to avoid injury.
"Agbadou felt something at half-time and he should tell me that he felt something," Pereira said.
"He went to the second half and I think he got an injury.
"We must respect the body. If I feel something, it's time (to come off)."

Sam Johnstone and Rodrigo Gomes missed the game with knocks, while Hwang Hee-chan and Jorgen Strand Larsen are also on the sidelines.
