Salop fell to back-to-back League One defeats as Josh Koroma's goal in the 81st minute guided the Terriers to victory at the Croud Meadow.

Shrewsbury were good value for a point, and Duff was well aware of the challenge Town would pose to his team given their recent form.

He said: "I think in the last 12 games, they have won four, drawn four and lost four.

"They have beaten Birmingham and Wrexham at home. They are in the bottom four, but they have not been showing bottom four form.

"The spirit and togetherness has not been in question (Duff said about his Terriers side) - the quality has - and I understand the frustration from the supporters sometimes.

"Anytime you come up against a Gareth Ainsworth team, they make it really difficult. It was a difficult pitch.

"I actually thought we played some good football in the first half particularly, and we got into some good areas. We are then just too anxious.

"In terms of Shrewsbury, they had lots of moments in terms of balls going into the box and some things bouncing around, but they did not open us up.

"Their one chance comes from us making a really poor decision to pass the ball into the middle, and it is just never an option on this type of pitch.

"Ultimately, it is an away win, a clean sheet, three points - we go home happy."

Shrewsbury are next in action this weekend when they welcome Stevenage to the Croud Meadow. They lost 1-0 to Salop's relegation rivals on Tuesday.
