Brogan has made seven starts for the Bucks since arriving in mid-January, registering one goal, in the 6-2 home victory over Bedford Town.

His stay at the club will run until March 17, and manager Kevin Wilkin said: “Max has come in and worked really hard; I can see the bits of his game that we need to help him with, but he wants to do well, which is most important.

"He looks after himself tremendously well; he’s a fit lad who gets around the field, and I think he can continue to improve.

“He’s 23 now, so he’s at an age where he needs to start really setting his stamp on a team, and we very much hope he can do that with us.”
