Shrewsbury v Stevenage predicted XI: Will Gareth Ainsworth make changes

Salop revealed the welcome news on Thursday afternoon they had added to their ranks when David Wheeler signed a deal until the end of the season. 

You would expect the 34-year-old midfielder to go straight into the squad for the match against Stevenage this weekend. 

He will, you would expect, play a big part from the start in the remainder of Salop's games this campaign, but it would be harsh on the team that ran Huddersfield so close on Tuesday evening to bring him straight in. 

Wheeler will most likely have to undergo a period of training to build himself up to match fitness too. He left Wycombe at the start of February. 

Could Vadaine Oliver come into the side for the game against Alex Revell's team - well, there is every chance. 

Clashes against Stevenage in recent years have been ugly affairs, they have been physical battles as much as anything else. The former Bradford man's physicality will be a welcome boost. 

Taylor Perry could be in contention, but you think it might be a touch too soon for him to go straight back into the starting XI after missing Tuesday's game with a quad injury. 

It does not happen very often under Ainsworth, but most likely, his team will be unchanged for this match.
