Castlefields edge closer to the safety line
Castlefields took another big step towards survival in their debut Summit League Premier Division campaign with a 9-1 (156-106) victory over Windmill.

The All Saints Recreation Ground outfit had targeted the home clash with second-bottom side Windmill as a fixture to pull away from the drop-zone.
The meeting came just seven days after the sides met at Windmill's home ground, where the Rugeley side edged a tight 6-4 encounter.
Fields' revenge victory moves them up to sixth, overtaking The George – who fell to a defeat at Chadsmoor A.
Mike Beer landed the Castlefields MVP after his dominant 21-6 win over Mick Bardsley. Andy Judson (21-5) and Keith Walton (21-9) also chipped up impressive victories.
The win moved Castlefields three points clear of Willenhall Nordley A in seventh, and five clear of the George in eighth.
The bottom two sides in the 10-team division are automatically relegated, while the side in eighth face a play-off tie.

Hadley USC's narrow 7-3 (146-120) defeat at Broomfield saw Moor Lane B and Woodfield A close in on their third-place position.
