Craig Wilson beats the big guns as Meole Brace get off to a flyer in bowls season
Delighted skipper Pete Bound hailed the displays of Craig Wilson after Meole Brace's flying start to the season.

The Shrewsbury side are the early Shropshire Premier League pacesetters with two wins out of two, although they have both been at home.
An opening-night win over Castlefields was followed on Friday with a 12-2 hammering of Hanwood.
And Wilson has been key to both victories having seen off big guns Callum Wraight and Greg Smith, both 21-13.
"It was a great team performance," said Bound. "Over the last two games I couldn't have asked more of the team. Craig beating Greg Smith was an outstanding effort and he is on fire at the moment."
Newport are bottom but both their opening fixtures have been on the road, the latest an 11-3 reverse at defending champions Sir John Bayley, who are joint-second with Wrockwardine Wood, who beat newly-promoted Hanmer 12-2 with captain Rob Jones their best winner to four.
Bowring were 3-1 up at Chester Road after the first four but returned home beaten 9-5.
But captain Jamie King said: "Five winners is a great result for us and a good step in the right direction.
"There was a great atmosphere in the back four when we really needed a few more winners and we managed to pull that off in a great team performance."
Skipper Andy Duckett led by example as Castlefields got up and running with a 10-4 success against Ifton.
Duckett was the home side's best winner while Darren Lacey starred for the visitors with a 21-15 win over Adrian Rowe.
Bylet recorded their biggest win since the last game of the 2015 season with a 12-2 thrashing of Burway.
Newcomer Rob Perry was the best winner to seven while Nick Lewis won 12 to take that accolade for the visitors.
Another new signing to impress was Tom Langford as he was St Georges' best winner in their 11-3 victory over Wem USC. Langford won 21-4 with Derek Wright's victory to nine the best response from Wem.
