Champions in draw
Callum Wraight and Spencer Clarke will fly the flag for Shropshire at the Champion of Champions event in Blackpool tomorrow.
The duo head into the last 32 of the senior men’s singles looking for glory at Waterloo Bowling Club.
Castlefields king Wraight – who qualified through the Coors Meole Brace Open – takes on Martin Gilpin at the top of the draw. Meanwhile, Shropshire Merit champion Clarke will take on Matt Gilmore.
Wraight made it all the way to the final of the Champion of Champions last year before coming unstuck, 21-11 against Castlefields team-mate Michael Beer.
