Richie Woodhall at Telford & Wrekin boxing bill
Telford's retired former world champion Richie Woodhall will be a guest of honour at an amateur show in his hometown.
Woodhall, who won the WBC world super middleweight title in 1998, will be at the Anstice Memorial Hall in Madeley for Telford & Wrekin Boxing Academy's 14-bout event, which starts at 8pm tomorrow night.
Nine home boxers will appear on the bill including ABA schools championship semi-finalist Kieran Solon, Midlands Counties junior finalists Luis Martin and senior West Midlands regional champion Nathan McFarlane.
The first bell will sound at 8pm. Tickets are £15 adults and £10 children.
The club will also see action the following evening, when Dillon Robb competes in the national Junior championships at Donnington Working Mens Club.
