Though he didn’t earn one of the eight automatic qualification spots, Pallett gained enough points across the four days to finish in a tie for sixth on the Q School Order of Merit and be one of 11 further players awarded a tour card for the next two years.
The 28-year-old from Newport missed out on his place on the PDC Tour last year, but shocked the darts world when he enjoyed a memorable run to the semi-finals of the UK Open as a qualifier.
However, he will be eligible for PDC events for the next two years after reaching the last 32 on the first and last days, as well as the quarter-finals on day three.
He will be joined on the PDC Tour by reigning BDO world champion Glen Durrant, who also qualified through the Order of Merit.
