Former Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford man Steve Leslie signs for Newtown
Former Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford midfielder Steve Leslie has joined Welsh Premier League outfit Newtown.
The 30-year-old Scot, who mostly plays on the left of midfield, has been on trial with the Robins this summer.
He made more than 100 Football League appearances for Town between 2006-2012 before joining the Bucks later that year.
Newtown chief Chris Hughes said: “Having that many Football League and non league appearances under his belt shows the quality he has.”
