'I wasn't happy': Alex Bradley on post West Brom struggles, non-league football and becoming a business owner
If you join a professional football club at the age of seven and you're still there to land a professional contract, you could be forgiven for thinking your future belongs in the game.
However, for many young professionals, the dream doesn't always turn out how you hope - and that has certainly been the case for Alex Bradley.
The Worcester born midfielder was snapped up by Albion in 2006 at the age of seven, rising through the ranks before landing a professional contract.
He starred in Albion's under 23 side alongside the likes of Dara O'Shea, and was around the first team squad in 2017/2018, impressing then boss Alan Pardew.
However, the next season he was out of contract, and without a club.
The following year saw the midfielder, who has represented Finland at youth level through his Finnish born mother, bouncing around clubs such as Lincoln, Harrogate, and Yeovil.
But just over two years after leaving Albion and letting go of his Premier League dream, it all got too much for Bradley, who was recently signed for Walsall Wood, after helping Tamworth to promotion to the National League North.
