Callum Hassan and Burton Albion loan duo Liam Slade and Sam Austin have played their last games for the Bucks, as boss Rob Smith clears the decks.

Hassan's short-term deal has expired and Slade and Austin have returned to the Pirelli Stadium after their loans ended.

Striker Hassan made eight appearances – four as starts – while Slade played four times before getting injured and Austin figured seven times, starting five.

All three started both FA Trophy ties. Striker Hassan was seen as back-up for Dave Hibbert.

After attracting plenty of interest before the Bucks snapped him up from Kidderminster Harriers, is likely to be the subject of interest again.

Their exits are likely to mean Smith will be looking for players at centre-back, in wide areas and up front.

Meanwhile, JCB driver Curtis Tilt is ready to dig deep in his return after an extended Christmas break.

The 24-year-old centre-back is available for Saturday's trip to Stockport County, after missing the last two games through suspension.

He said: "I've been in the gym and training with Telford so I should be ready."

Tilt missed the chance of a return when Saturday's clash at home to his former club Hednesford was controversially postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The derby has been re-arranged for next Tuesday, January 12.

The postponement means Tilt hasn't kicked a competitive ball in anger since the 1-0 win against Lowestoft on December 19. And he is itching for a recall.

He said: "I was ready to play because it will have been two weeks this Saturday since I've played so it was very frustrating to see the game called off."
