The on-loan Wolves teenager, 19, has been highly impressed with the support since arriving at the New Bucks Head.

Rob Smith's side complete a run of four consecutive matches in front of their own fans with Tuesday's visit of well-supported FC United of Manchester.

And the Ludlow-born shot-stopper reckons their own supporters can do their bit to avoid a second successive drop.

He said: "It's absolutely massive coming out in front of these supporters. Coming out at the start with all of the fans on your side, it really does help.

"It's almost like you start the game feeling like you're 1-0 up. You come out thinking 'yes, the fans are behind us, this is good' and it allows you to start positively and be confident on the ball."

Burgoyne believes the Bucks need another unbeaten run to improve their chances of escaping the bottom three, with three points separating them and Lowestoft.

He said: "We need to get a win and go another three games unbeaten."
