Josh Wilson ready to go for AFC Telford

New signing Josh Wilson has given AFC Telford United a selection headache for tomorrow's trip to National League North leaders Solihull Moors.

The versatile striker from Fylde joins an attack firing on all cylinders after Tuesday's 5-1 rout of FC United of Manchester.

Wilson missed the midweek victory due to a prior commitment which the club knew about.

He now joins a three-pronged forward line in which John Cofie, Dave Hibbert and Connor McCarthy featured heavily in the Bucks' biggest win of the season.

Cofie and Hibbert scored and McCarthy won a penalty and set up the third and fifth goals.

Assistant boss Larry Chambers admits the arrival of Wilson has given him and manager Rob Smith a pleasant dilemma.

Chambers said: "Josh will come into the squad for tomorrow. We have a nice dilemma – that's why Rob is the manager, he can make the decision!

"We'll assess it as we go along but it's a nice problem to have after they did so well the other night.

"In our position we need goals and wins so to add another striker to the mix is great."

As Wilson arrives, winger Eusebio Bancessi is available for the last scheduled game of his month's loan from Wolves.

As to whether they would extend it, Chambers said: "We'll make a decision on him after the weekend."

Solihull remain four points clear despite two recent defeats – including a 6-0 thumping at Harrogate – and Chambers is expecting the stiffest test for his improving side.

He said: "It's probably as tough a game as we could ask for. They have plenty of experience and plenty of Conference-standard players.

"We're under no illusions that we'll have to be at our very best. But we have a game-plan and we'll give it a go. Because of the position we're in, we need to get something from it."

Telford make a late check on Graham Hutchison (calf) and Jordan Wynter (hamstring).
