Long-standing No 1 James Montgomery is hoping to save Telford another loan deal by declaring himself fit to return to action.

The Bucks shot-stopper is back in training after a dislocated finger sustained in the 2-0 defeat at Hednesford on Boxing Day.

Harry Burgoyne has played the last eight games in goal on loan from Wolves and his latest stint ends this weekend, when Telford don't play.

The club are waiting to see if they need to extend his spell into a third month, but it could depend on Montgomery's fitness.

But Montgomery wants to be available when Telford return to action at Stalybridge Celtic a week on Saturday.
