Under the 2016-17 Early Bird scheme, adults will pay 24 per cent less and concessions rates are cut by 33 per cent, 16-19 year olds pay 22 per cent less, while under-eights will remain free.

Adults will pay £179, concessions £136, 16-19s £79, eight-16 years-olds £44. Under-eights will be admitted for free, under the scheme, which is open now and runs to March 26.

It means adults can watch games for just over £8 and concessions for little over £6. After relegation last season, Telford's average gates have plummeted by around 40 per cent, from 1,800 to about 1,100.

A club statement said: "Given performances over the past two seasons have not lived up to expectations, we want to build a positive atmosphere while enabling Rob (Smith) and Larry (Chambers) to compete.

"Having analysed admissions across the leagues, we believe these prices offer greater value than any club with similar standard facilities."

Matchday admission will be a minimum of £11 adults , £8 concessions, £5 16-19s, £3 for Under nines-16s and Under-eights free.

However the club may review that position should Early Bird sales exceed expectations.

Telford also revealed their plans to fans, which includes regaining their National League Premier status in the next four years.

The statement continued: "In the immediate term, our priority is to fight to retain our National North status, while making sure the club comes through the recent difficult trading period.

"Any support that can help us achieve this short-term aim will be gratefully accepted.

"Our objectives over the next 12 months will be solely focused on ensuring we're back into the Conference National by 2020 at the latest.

"To do this the club will need to ensure it delivers on its three-year commercial strategy - which is set to deliver record commercial income.

"Alongside this, the club will have refreshed plans to increase the utilisation of the Learning Centre and Goalzone.

"We also continue to work on plans to develop and extend the Learning Centre."

Renewal forms, which will also be available to download from the official website, will be posted in the coming days.
