The 22-year-old former Arsenal academy youngster originally signed on loan from Cheltenham Town but made his move permanent last month, after impressing boss Rob Smith.

Wynter has been a key figure in Telford's midfield three in recent matches alongside Jack Rea and Lucas Dawson.

While improving physically to match the power of the National League North, Wynter wants to improve his stats going forward.

He said: "Honestly I don't think that I'm showing my best form but I would say that I'm improving slightly, hopefully game by game.

"It's not as consistent as I'd like it to be but this is around the first time during my career that I've played a lot of consistent football, so I'm just enjoying that really.

"Slowly but surely I feel like I'm getting where I want to be. I feel like now I need to start showcasing my strengths and abilities.

"Obviously, I need to chip in with a few goals and assists to get noticed a bit more but, at the moment, my main focus is on getting us safe from relegation."

The London-born box-to-box midfielder is winning supporters around at the New Bucks Head after a difficult start.

Wynter has started 15 games for the Bucks since his original loan move in December, and has now made boss Rob Smith's starting line-up in every match since January's defeat to AFC Fylde.

Having not played much football due to injury at former side Cheltenham, Wynter is pleased to be clocking up the minutes.

He added: "It's been a hard time for me. I've had a couple of injuries that have put me out for the majority of the season.

"Getting back fit and into the run of things has not been smooth, but I feel like I've dealt with it quite well.

"Me personally, I'd just like to play football. If being here next season is an option then I'd obviously look at it, but I'd like to play at the highest level as possible.

"If here is the highest level possible, then I'd 100 per cent come back."
