The popular 25-year-old right back has agreed a one-year deal after meeting with manager Rob Smith last night, despite receiving several offers from other clubs.

West Brom academy graduate Samuels joined the Bucks in October after a spell at Brackley Town and became the regular right-back.

Getting ahead of summer signings Josh Brizell and Mark Lees to make the spot his own, Samuels emerged as one of the most consistent and impressive performers as Telford avoided the drop from National League North.

Samuels joins Dave Hibbert as those contracted for next season, with Smith due to meet all the other out-of-contract players this week to tell them of their fate.

Meanwhile, Smith has started rebuilding his squad by releasing seven players.

Jordan Goddard has now joined Kyle Brownhill, Jordan Wynter, Josh Brizell, Johnny Gorman, Greg Wilkinson and Reece Simpson in leaving the Bucks Head.
