Lee Fowler signs for Telford

The 33-year-old joins after being released from National League outfit Wrexham and brings barrels of experience to the Bucks midfield.

The Cardiff-born former Kidderminster Harriers man notes stints at Coventry City and Huddersfield Town on his CV as well as spells with Fleetwood and Wrexham.

He joined Wrexham last season, finding first-team football difficult to come by and spending a spell on like at the Bucks' National League North rivals Tamworth.

Fowler becomes boss Rob Smith's fourth new signing of the summer. Telford now have 11 players registered for the new season.

Skipper Jack Rea remains the only member of last season's squad with an undecided future, as defender Curtis Tilt appears to be joining Salford City, as reported by the Shropshire Star.

Fowler, who has 12 caps for the Welsh u-21s, follows Dan Preston, Ben Bailey and James Hurst through the door at the New Bucks Head.
