A club statement released yesterday outlined how the club needs to raise £25,000 by the end of this month, and the same amount by the end of next month.

It also detailed the need of a change in the ownership model in order to make way for new investment, with a Supporters Trust SGM set to take place on Monday.

The club posted on Twitter: "After yesterday's statement from the club, the office has been overwhelmed with offers of help and support. We are working through them all.

"The club would like to thank all of the supporters who have generously donated to our paypal account.

"We have received donations from our own supporters, and also supporters from other clubs and a former player.

"Spread the word – Posters are being designed to promote our forthcoming fixtures for you to place in your local shops & pubs.

"On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for all of your support. We need football in Telford, you can help us keep it."

Those wishing to donate can do so via Paypal - visit www.telfordunited.com and click the BACK THE BUCKS link or send your Paypal payment direct to office@telfordutd.co.uk.

Also, there will be donation buckets around New Bucks Head on Saturday for the game against FC United of Manchester.
