The Bucks picked up their first away win of the National League North season on Saturday, winning 2-0 at Altrincham thanks to goals from Connor McCarthy and Bradley Reid.

After back-to-back wins, Smith's charges have moved up seven places to 12th in the league table.

Meanwhile, the Telford United Supporters Trust are set to hold a special general meeting, where it will be proposed the Trust sells its 1,000 shares back to the football club to make way for new investment.

On the future of the club, Smith said: "I have been saying to players that I think there are good things around the corner for the club – I really do.

"I am not just saying that – I believe it. We have got to start producing on the pitch, and that's what we have done.

"We have got a small squad but we are very together at the moment, and I really fancied us to get the win. I fancied us on the way up and, all over the park, they delivered."
