The Bucks found the net at the CNG Stadium through a Jonathan Royle header - but it came in the 90th minute after a John-Paul Pittman double for the home side.

Telford struggled to create chances and on the game, Chambers said: "I think their extra quality shone through in the end.

"It is always a difficult place to come and they are always one of the pre-season favourites.

"Whilst their recent form has been pretty poor, you look at their team and they have some good players.

"They have managed to get four or five of their key players back in recent weeks.

"We restricted them in the first half but that was more down to the fact that James Montgomery made two world-class saves.

"We were a little bit fortunate at half-time to go in at 0-0 and I have no complaints."

On the artificial surface, Chambers added: "You can't use the surface as an excuse. It was more down to the fact that I don't think we turned up, at all."
