Analysis

The Bucks were very much second best in this first round clash and found themselves two goals down by half-time.

Arthur Gnahoua opened the scoring with a cool finish in the 28th minute and Keith Lowe got their second with a header eight minutes later - all after Tyrell Waite had a penalty saved 17 minutes in.

Telford started the second period with a little bit of promise but there was no way back when substitute Mani Dieseruvwe headed home with 25 minutes to go.

Jordan Tunnicliffe added gloss to a well-deserved triumph in the 86th minute - another header from close range.

Adding to Telford's misery, they will now not have a home league game on Tuesday as scheduled opponents Brackley Town drew 1-1 against AFC Fylde in the Trophy and will play the replay on that night.

Rob Smith's charges were eager to press high in the opening exchanges and had the first chance of the afternoon. In the 14th minute, Ben Bailey failed to find the target with his head after a fine set-piece delivery by Josh Wilson.

They were eventually left to rue that miss but first Kidderminster won, and failed to convert a penalty. Waite's soft spot-kick was saved by Bucks goalkeeper James Montgomery after Bailey fouled Zaine Francis-Angol just inside the area.

It did not matter in the end as Gnahoua got the hosts on their way. He burst through just prior to the half-hour mark and calmly slotted into the corner from the edge of the box.

The home side, who are managed by former Stoke City midfielder John Eustace, then made the most of a good spell of pressure by doubling their lead in the 36th minute as skipper Lowe headed in from close range.

The Bucks were really struggling to create any chances from open play in the first half and were restricted to set pieces. Wilson's free-kick forced a decent stop by Kidderminster man Sam Hornby prior to the interval.

They made a slightly better start to the second period - the likes of Wilson and John-Paul Kissock looking bright at times - but went three down inside the 75th minute.

Telford's marking was questionable all game and Dieseruvwe made the most of that, guiding the ball in with his head after a great cross. Tunnicliffe, who looked strong at centre-half for the home side, then made it 4-0 in the dying minutes.

The Bucks need to show much more when they head to Halifax for a National League North fixture next weekend.

Key moments

14 - A big chance for Telford to take the lead. Josh Wilson's well-weighted free-kick finds Ben Bailey in an unmarked position but the defender can only head the ball over from close range.

17 - PENALTY to Kidderminster. Full-back Zaine Francis-Angol goes down in the area as a result of a late sliding challenge by Bailey. Tyrell Waite takes the spot-kick, James Montgomery gets down low to make the save and then Dwayne Samuels makes a fantastic sliding clearance. The Bucks hold on.

23 - Another chance for Waite. The Kidderminster winger bursts into the box from the right but manages to kick the ball out for a Telford throw-in.

24 - Telford are very much on the back foot. Waite cuts inside from the right and lays the ball off to Andre Brown, who fires the ball over from the edge of the 18-yard area.

28 - GOAL! Kidderminster 1-0 Telford. It has been coming - Arthur Gnahoua runs in behind the Bucks defence and coolly slots the ball into the corner of the net. That is the winger's 13th goal of the season.

36 - GOAL! Kidderminster 2-0 Telford. Former Bucks man James McQuilkin swings a free-kick into the box from the right and Lowe rises highest to head the ball past Montgomery. Far too easy for the hosts.

40 - Wilson's free-kick is heading for the corner but Harriers goalkeeper Sam Hornby gets across well and tips the ball wide for a Telford corner. Nothing comes from it though.

54 - After a neat one-two with Jonathan Royle, John-Paul Kissock flicks the ball over the leg of a Kidderminster defender and hits the ball wide on the half-volley.

60 - Kidderminster should be out of sight. Substitute Main Dieseruvwe uses his pace to beat Paul McCone to a lofted pass and his attempted chip goes wide of the mark.

76 - GOAL! Kidderminster 3-0 Telford. Dieseruvwe, who used to play for Sheffield Wednesday, gets down low to head in after a fantastic delivery from the right by Tyrone Williams.

86 - GOAL! Kidderminster 4-0 Telford. Jordan Tunnicliffe, who has been very impressive for the hosts, heads in after McQuilkin's corner. Game over.
