An under-11s side from Lawley Primary School, representing the club, have made it to the National League Trust national finals.

Having won county and regional finals to make it Wembley, the young Bucks are one of four teams who will grace the hallowed turf prior to the National League play-off final along with Braintree Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Gateshead.

They are due to take on Braintree in a semi-final at 1.15pm.

AFC Telford United head of youth, Luke Shelley said: "The boys have done brilliantly to get this far, getting past teams such as Stockport County and AFC Fylde.

"It's an experience not many children get, or many people get, to play on the pitch at Wembley so they should be proud and we wish them all the best."
