Full-back Gough has experienced promotion from National League North before with Solihull Moors, and featured for Brackley Town during the second half of last season.

Steele, who is a winger, is a product of Port Vale's youth set-up and spent last term at Worcester City.

On those who have been retained, centre-half McCone insisted he was staying to fight for his place, as reported by the Shropshire Star this morning, and a deal has now been officially confirmed by the Bucks.

Centre forward Westwood, who jumped up four divisions from Wolverhampton Sporting towards the end of last campaign, and young winger Lilly have also been given a chance to prove themselves.

Royle was a regular in midfield last season after joining from Southport, following a successful initial loan spell, and will be competing against the likes of Joe Fitzpatrick and Kieran Dunbar for a starting spot.

Those six players takes the number who have been announced for Rob Smith's squad for next season to 14.
